Q. What is the total Prize Money which can be won at the TCS World 10K Bangalore 2012?
A total prize money of US $170,000 can be won by the top finishers of the World 10K race category. For prize money structure click here
Q. Can I apply for the World 10K race category?
Only International and National elite athletes are eligible to compete in the World 10K category. However, if you want to apply for this category, you need to submit your latest timing certificate along with your application form. Your confirmation into this category is subject to qualifying timings set by the Event's technical team, whose decision will be final and binding on all.
Q. How can I apply for the Nation's Challenge race category?
To participate in the Nation's Challenge, State Athletic Associations and Sports Control Boards can write to nationschallenge@procamrunning.in
Q. How can I apply for the Corporate Challenge race category?
a) The Corporate Challenge is open for participation only by registered companies (excluding Section 25 companies) and firms.
b) Each member of the team needs to fill and sign individual physical application forms. All 3 forms of each team need to be submitted together under a covering letter of the company.
c) The application forms, covering letter with the application fees need to be submitted at Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Room No. 2, Gate no. 3, Bengaluru- 560 001 (timing: 10 am to 7 pm).
Q. What will happen to my application if the finish timings mentioned in the certificate submitted by me do not qualify for the World 10K category?
Your entry will be automatically confirmed for the Open 10K Run category, and you will be intimated accordingly.
