Fund raising through the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon, is encouraged through pledges. Pledges are donations/contributions received from friends, family, and colleagues in support of the charity/cause chosen by the fund raiser.
Concern India Foundation has devised a pledge kit with the help of which you can raise pledges for your charity. Pledge kits will be available at Concern India Foundation website.
Pledge raisers can also create their own online giving pages and send links to friends, family and acquaintances, appealing for their donations. To create online giving page, the pledge raiser has to log on to Concern India Foundation’s website.
Any individual runner, who is neither a Dream Maker or Dream Challenger, nor is part of a Corporate Challenge team, can do his own bit and raise funds for a cause/charity of his/her individual choice.
An I Pledge runner can raise funds using the pledge kit which is downloadable for free from the website. Another effective tool of fund raising is online. One can create their own individual online giving pages on the Concern India website. This is one of the easiest and fastest modes of reaching out to your influence base and appeal to them to contribute towards your run.
Raising funds for a cause is simple. Remember, you are not asking for money for yourself.
The last date to receive pledges by Concern India Foundation is 31st December, 2013.
IPledge runners can raise funds with the help of the fundraising kit which can easily be downloaded.
